Natalie Zarowny

Natalie Zarowny joined the CBS 4 News Team in June of 2012, less than a month after graduating from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism.  While at Emerson, Natalie worked as a DJ and news reporter for the school's award winning radio station, WERS.  In 2010, she won an Associated Press ‘New England Regional Conference' Award for her radio coverage of the Massachusetts governor's race.

In the summers and during her last semester at college Natalie held a number of internships.  Favorites include working alongside reporters at WFLD Fox Chicago, shooting and editing video stories for the Boston Herald's website, and doing art research at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C..

Natalie was born in Miami, Florida surrounded by her crazy, loving, Cuban family, but moved to Chicago at the age of four.  She grew up by Lake Michigan in Wilmette, Illinois and is happy to be working somewhere so close to her family. 

If she's not out on a story or in the newsroom, you can usually find Natalie eating Mexican food, searching for the next book she's going to read, hanging out with friends, at the gym, or hanging out with friends.
