CBS4 supports the Quad City Collaborative for a Bully-Free Community, which is a community group working towards the goal of creating a bully-free community.
For nearly a year, the organization: Quad Citians Affirming Diversity (QCAD) has brought together a group of community stakeholders from both sides of the river. The purpose of the Collaborative is to increase public awareness through education about bullying behavior and implement strategies to create a safe, bully-free community. To achieve this goal, the Collaborative is coordinating a community-wide media campaign, providing support for educational initiatives and programs, host informational meetings and assist with referrals and resources.
