Cooler Holiday Weekend...
A couple of nice days are in store for the Quad Cities once we get the clouds and rain out of the area Thursday morning. It's going to be a chilly night tonight with lows around 40°. There's an outside chance of seeing some very light scattered frost well north of the metro area. Temperatures will remain about 5-10 degrees below average through Sunday. For the weekend, we'll see a sun and cloud mix and a daily chance of showers and thunderstorms. Any of the storms could produce heavy downpours.
