Warming Trend On The Way...
The Quad Cities dodged a bullet overnight with our latest brush with winter weather. While we saw a quick period of light snow in the metro area, most of the heavier, accumulating snow fell just to the southeast of the Quad Cities. That snow will end early this morning and other than a few flurries today, we'll see a sun and cloud mix. It'll be breezy and colder with highs in the 30s.
After a cold night tonight with lows in the teens, we'll be back well into the 40s Thursday and into the 50s Friday with plenty of sunshine.
For the weekend, we'll see highs in the 40s Saturday and the 30s Sunday with more clouds Sunday.
