The Salvation Army has another campaign going on right now. This one to bring joy to Quad Cities kids at Christmas.
There's only one week left in the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program. They're collecting toys at all four Quad Cities Walmarts and the malls.
All the gifts go to families who can't afford to get their kids presents, but right now organizers are concerned that donations are way down.
"We are scared. So many families are depending on us to help make their Christmas a happy one," said Holly Nomura with the Salvation Army of the Quad Cities.
You can bring the gifts to the customer service area of the stores. The angel tree program helps provide presents for more than 2000 kids in our area.
