Some concerned Quad Cities parents are rallying together to combat bullying.
Sunday several parents met at the Col ballroom in Davenport to discuss the problem of bullies in the school system.
Many say bullying is becoming a major problem in our area. Parents at the meeting today tell CBS 4 they're worried for their kids safety and trying to figure out what can be done.
"They go over and shove him. And then they like to take his binder and unzip it and throw all his papers on the ground. I want to raise awareness and I want other parents to know their rights and the steps they need to take," said Ashley Mack, Davenport resident who says her son is bullied.
Organizer Ashley Mack says she plans to continue shedding light on bullying in our area schools.
