It was time for kids to take out their costumes a little early today at the Halloween parade in Moline.
The annual parade was hosted by the Moline Dad's Club.
The event brought out ghouls, ghosts, and goblins, all ready to pick up the coveted Halloween candy being thrown into the crowds.
"It's the last big parade of the year. It's the Halloween parade where people can come and receive something and we go through hundreds of dollars in candy that are pitched out," said Bryon Scodeller of the Moline Dad's Club.
The parade followed a new route this year, the first time in its 56 years.
