We're feeling the first chilly weekend this fall, and some people are already bundling up.
"A little neck thing, a little hat thing, a little sweatshirt, a vest, just protection from the wind. I might zip up to," said Marcella Johnson.
The brisk weather has folks, like Marcella Johnson pulling out their winter wear, and despite October's cooler temps, it's not stopping those from doing outdoor activities like a segway tour in Davenport.
But while some people are embracing it, others are having a hard time saying goodbye to the warmth of summer.
"I'm not fully accepting winter, and I'm holding on to the summer with the shorts, but I'm acknowledging the change of temperature with the jacket," said Bradley Hanna.
The fall colors of the leaves are out, but people are hoping we don't skip fall, and go right into a cold winter.
