It was both learning and fun for kids at the John Deere pavilion today.
October kids' crafts day focused on teaching children about agriculture and farming.
The theme was pumpkins, and each kid got to decorate their own.
There was also a musical performance and lots of fall decorations.
"A lot of kids don't understand, when they go to store they think that's where their food comes from. So our role is to teach them there is a process, that farmers are huge, they provide the food they eat everyday and helping feed everyone," said Kristen Veto assistant manager at the John Deere.
The event was so popular, at one point organizers had to pick up even more pumpkins for kids to decorate.
