What does Michael Jackson, Ringo Starr and a camel have in common?
Not a whole lot, but you could feel the presence of all three tonight at the Niabi Zoo for the annual "Zoofari" fundraiser.
Guests had a chance to take pictures with a camel, and bid on a variety of gifts and collectibles, including a signed guitar by Paul McCartney and a signed songbook by Justin Bieber.
Organizers say the night means a whole lot for the zoo as it celebrates its 50th anniversary.
"Events like tonight go a long way toward making Niabi Zoo great," says Marc Heinzman, Niabi Zoo Director. "All the things we want to do costs money obviously, so having the communities come out to support the zoo and help us out allows us to be such an asset for the Quad Cities I think it is."
Guests also had a chance to bid on paintings created by the iconic elephants along with a boomerang benches painted by them as well.
