"We're starting to see cases now, so we know its in Iowa now. So basically what we want people to know is since it's here if you've been putting off getting your flu vaccination, get it now because we could start seeing a lot more activity from the flu very soon."
Health officials said this is about the time cases start to pop up all over the state. So far there have only been three cases reported in Iowa, but that number could grow quickly. The peak of flu season is late December but doctors say if you haven't got your flu shot yet, you need to as soon as possible.
