Cleanup continues on a slippery mess on Interstate 80 near Geneseo after a truck carrying liquid soap wrecked this morning.
The Illinois State Police tells CBS4 that the truck drifted into the ditch and the driver lost control, putting the truck on its side and ripping off the roof, spilling soap all over the highway.
The accident happened around 6 Friday morning near mile marker 12 on westbound I-80.
Crews hope to have one lane of the highway back open around 10:45, but traffic is still being rerouted at Geneseo to U.S. 6, so if you're heading into the Quad Cities this morning give yourself some extra time.
