A warrant has been issued for a woman who investigators say left her two year old home alone before her house caught on fire.
Victoria Carrera has been charged with Child Endangerment with Bodily Injury for leaving her son asleep on the couch of their West 7th street home while she and the child's father went to work.
The home later caught fire because of hot grease left cooking on the stove. A Davenport fire fighter was injured rescuing the boy from a window on the second floor of the home.
Carrera was given time to return to face the charge against her but did not, so authorities have issued a warrant for her. Investigators believe the two year old, as well as his older brother, are with her.
The child's father, Edgar Ponce is already in custody in the Scott County Jail.
