Some Quad City students were stretching their legs Friday. While bringing attention to a good cause.
Students at Rock Islands Math and Science Center held a walkathon, walking for around 30 minutes. Many wearing yellow to honor national dress for pediatric cancer day.
All the money will go to a local child with pediatric cancer to help pay for medical expenses and for games to play during chemo treatments.
The students raised nearly two thousand dollars by selling $5 yellow show strings.
