It's a title wave of an art installation making big waves.
A group of Bucktown artists are working together with the community to create a large scale exhibit with books. They already used a thousand books and are transforming them to look like waves of water. The artists are in need of a few thousand more.
"Well I don't think anything like this has been done before. It seems kind of crazy when you look at the amount of books we're going to need. But I think it's going to be a really cool effect once we get it all up there," says David Balluff, Co-Owner, General Assembly.
If you want to donate books, you're asked to drop them off at Bucktown in Davenport. They're open Wednesday through Saturday and anyone who donates will be listed in the credits.
