Iowa City is getting a big chunk of change after a landfill fire last year.
The city came to a settlement with it's insurance company for nearly 2 million dollars.
But that's less than half of the assessed damage from a massive landfill fire that burned for more than 2 weeks back in May of 2012.
The company disputed the city's policy which listed sheds and buildings but not the landfill cells where the fire actually happened.
