Live Uncommon is making strides, steps, and bike rides to make a difference in the community. Today the organization announced they're sponsoring the first ever live uncommon games in June. The games will consist of 5 k runs, bike rides, kick ball, tennis, an egg toss, even cross fit. They're also holding a Mudder Fest competition.
All the money goes to different Quad City charities.
"It's bigger, broader, better, more giveback. We have a goal of 100,000 dollar give back next year to outside charities and scholarships and the Live Uncommon Games is where it's going to happen," says Michelle Solis Russell, Co-Founder, Live Uncommon.
Live Uncommon also hosted the Critical Mass Citizen's bike ride. The ride encourages cyclists and drivers to be aware of each other on the road.
