Quad City folks and horses hooked up playing polo for a cause.
The Quad Cities Polo Club sponsored a benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. 12 players went head to head playing for those who served. The money raised will go towards resources for veterans to help get them back to a normal life. It will also include funds for family counseling and injuries during their time away.
"Every day you hear about somebody that's injured and they've sacrificed for our country, so this is kind of the least we can do for them," says Marcy Boeh.
The Boeh's hope to have the benefit for wounded warriors again next year.
