Monday was the first day of classes at Carl Sandburg College.
A slice of normalcy compared to the massive flooding that broke through doors and left computers floating in water this past May.
Three and a half feet of water rushing through the glass doors of the lobby, was all caught on security camera footage after the May 28th flood.
Even the school's president is still in awe.
"I don't think I really thought that we would be at this place just a couple of months later but we are – virtually you can't tell what's happened," said school president Lori Sundberg.
Staff said most returning students didn't even notice a difference from last semester.
