Tuesday night people in Davenport joined thousands of other cities for a National Night Out!
The 30th annual event to help prevent violence was organized by United Neighbors.
The celebration at Fejervary Park had a bounce house, face painting, hot dogs, and music.
Davenport Aldermen were there to meet and greet with neighbors along with several officers, and even the k-9 unit.
"Making sure people are aware of their neighbors and looking after each other and various things like that is something comes up, don't be afraid to call police just to be supportive." says community organizer, Bonnie Beachum.
Beachum adds that she hopes after the event, everyone knows their neighbors names.
