Ambrose hall is getting a 5 million dollar facelift.
The building on Locust Street in davenport was built in 1885 and was the first structure on what has become a 60 acre, urban university campus.
The extensive exterior renovation will return the iconic hall to its former glory.
"What you'll see in the end is a building that looks very similar to the way it did back in the late 1800s when it was originally constructed brand new windows that match the look of the original as well as exterior restoration of the brick and stone," says A.J. Loss, President, Bush Construction.
The project will be finished in early December.
