Bikers get ready. The biggest BMX race in the Quad Cities is happening this weekend.
More than a thousand riders will take off on the BMX speedway. It's part of the national tour with 30 stops in the country with East Moline being one of them. People from all over the country will be going head to head in the races and with that shelling out cash in the area.
"Our local kids get to see the BMX circus come to town, so it's incredible and the community, we've flooded this place with lots of people from all over the United States this weekend," says Paul DePauw, Track Operator.
The national competition starts tomorrow and goes until Sunday.
