The military showed their presence today at the John Deere Classic.
20 active duty military walked inside the ropes and caddied for PGA tour players on the 15th hole.
It's all part of the active duty caddie program where soldiers get to team up with the players.
"It's a great feeling. I enjoy being in the military and I enjoy having the ability to support the military through other means, representing the military for the PGA is great. I love it," says William Gerding, Staff Sergeant.
Military soldiers we talked to say they also love to watch golf so that makes the day even more enjoyable.
