Peas and carrots, Batman and Robin... And Iowa and Kosovo?
The Hawkeye State will soon form a partnership with the eastern European country. It was announced today after a meeting with Governor Terry Branstad and Kosovo's Prime Minister, Hashim Thaci.
The two countries have been building their relationship since 2003, when hundreds of National Guard soldiers were sent to Kosovo for peace-keeping missions.
The partnership will be made official next month and will help Kosovo improve their economy, military, and government.. And help boost Iowa's trade and create jobs.
