Police are investigating a car crash in Davenport that sent five people to the hospital.
Investigators returned to the scene today in the 3900 block of Rockingham Road. Police say the accident happened last night when a car went around a curve too fast, lost control, crashed into a pole, then flipped over.
One of the passengers was thrown out of the car. All five were taken to the hospital, their conditions are unknown.
Police say alcohol may have played a role in the crash.

Five people are recovering this morning after an accident in Davenport.
The five people were involved in a single car accident around 9:30 last night.
The car hit a utility pole and flipped in the 3900 block of Rockingham Rd in Davenport. All five people were taken to the hospital.
Police say there may be some serious injuries.
