Update: The outage has been fixed in Clinton County, IA. The County Sheriff's Department said customers should be able to get calls through once again.
Previous Story: The Clinton County Sheriff's Office tells CBS4 a fiber was cut around 8:30 p.m. causing a phone outage in the area. They say it affects roughly a dozen people living south of Calamus, that's near Dixon, IA, from 178th Ave and 298th Street. They said the numbers of the people affected start with 563-843. There's no word on when the problem will be fixed. They said some Scott County residents could also be affected, however, there's no word yet on how many.
