Quad City kids with orthopedic problems got some extra help today.
Thanks to folks at Shriner's hospitals, children with bone, joint and muscle problems were checked out for free.
A doctor was on site to do the evaluations at the orthopedic screening clinic.
Kids with burns or burn scars were also looked at to see if they too could be treated at Shriners hospital.
"There's a lot of children out here that have problems and we're trying to improve the lives of these children by treatment at Shriner's hospitals," says Allan Kluever, Hospital Chairman.
All treatments will be done at Shriner's hospitals regardless if the family can pay.
