A fire in preemption had Sherrard fire fighters working hard again on Saturday.
Officials say they got on scene just after 9 Saturday morning and flames were burning through the second story.
They say 10 fire departments were called to help put out the blaze because the strong winds made it virtually impossible.
100-thousand gallons of water had to be hauled in to finally stop the fire from spreading.
A family of 4 lived in the house, all of them made it out safely.
