UPDATE: The fire chief tells us 3 people lived inside the home and all got out safely. He also told us the fire looks to have started in the basement. there is heavy smoke damage, but the house is not a loss.
Davenport fire crews are on scene of a structure fire in the 1600 block of 4th Street.
Our crew on scene tells us the structure is a house and barbershop. There was visible smoke and flames coming from the structure when fire fighters arrived.
They have been able to get the fire contained.
Everyone was able to get out of the home and no one has been injured.
