Man charged with killing neighbor's dog

An East Moline man is facing criminal charges for shooting a neighbors dog. 

Michael Coulter is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals and reckless discharge of a firearm.  Police said last month, he killed his neighbors dog with a shotgun in the middle of an East Moline neighborhood on 6th Street Court, and then dumped the body in a creek near Aledo, IL.

Coulter said the victim dog came into his yard and was fighting with his dogs. He's being held on $15,000 bond.
