The Dixon Teachers' Union is tapping the brakes on their new contract.
The Dixon Education Association has pushed back ratifying their new contract with the school board by one day.
They were supposed to do it today, but pushed it back so they can clear up some of the language in the contract.
This delay does not mean the agreement is void. The two sides worked together and ended a nearly 2 week strike last Wednesday.
