A Sterling, Illinois Wal-Mart that was robbed of a flat screen television on Saturday was hit again Monday morning by a different thief.
Around 3 A.M. a man took six flat screens and escaped through an emergency exit. He loaded the sets into a mini-van behind the store with the help of at least two other people.
The televisions are worth over $7,000. Similar thefts have been reported at Wal-Mart stores in Peru, Ottowa, and other stores in the past few weeks.
The Sterling Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding the thefts to call the Sterling Police Department at 815-632-6640, or Whiteside County Crimestoppers at 815-625-7867.
Tips to Crimestoppers can earn a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
