You might be green with envy if you didn't get a chance to see the St. Patrick's day parade Saturday.
Tens of thousands of Quad Citians lined the streets of Rock Island and Davenport for the 28th annual grand parade, the largest bi–state parade in the country.
And whether you're Irish or not, it was the event to be at today.
"It means the world to the Quad Cities, my mother came from Galway, Ireland originally since 16 and we got all kinds of great folks here, but it's a way to celebrate our heritage. Whether it be German Irish, Scotch Irish, or whatever Irish. Everybody's Irish on St. Patrick's Day," said Davenport's Mayor Bill Gluba.
