New hotel could be coming to Davenport

A new hotel could soon be moving into Davenport.

The city is working with Lamont Companies out of South Dakota to bring a new Holiday Inn Express to the North end of Davenport. The 4 story, 90 room hotel would be built near the intersection of 65th and Brady Streets. That's near the access to Interstate 80.

The project is in its early stages and there's no word yet on when the hotel would be built.
