Chili Cook-Off

If corned beef and cabbage isn't your thing, the Mercer County 4-H has an alternative to St. Patrick's Day tradition this weekend.

Saturday, the 4-H is hosting their 3rd annual Chili Cook-Off. It goes from 4-7 P.M. at the new Aledo fire station on 3rd street in Aledo, Illinois. The event is free with a cash donation or non perishable food item. All the proceeds go toward the Churches of Mercer County Food Pantry.
