A new master plan for the East Village of Davenport has business owners excited.
Thursday night the city of Davenport and a consulting company shared a preliminary draft to spruce up the village.
It looks at enhancing areas like Lindsay Park and altering the streets and sidewalk network.
Local business owners say improvements are always good.
"It's been a rough economy. And to see that people are wanting to put resources into the village is very exciting." said Tracy Pettett, owner of "The Added Touch."
There'll be one more final presentation put on by the city within the month.
