The fight against cancer is a long battle, but Quad Citians are doing their part by shopping and donating.
It's thanks in part to the American Cancer Society's Discovery shop in Bettendorf. The shop sells clothing and household items and all of the proceeds go back to the American Cancer Society.
It's also a place where you can receive some support if you know of someone fighting cancer.
"We all are touched by cancer and it's a huge fight and it takes a lot of time, a lot of people, and a lot of money to fight cancer, as everybody knows," says Jamie Sons, manager.
If you would like to help, you can donate clothing or household items. And this marks their 25th year of fundraising in the Quad Cities with almost $3.5 million raised locally.
