Morrison flood emergency

The City of Morrison is asking for volunteers to help with flood fighting efforts.

Because of the recent rains creeks that run through town are overflowing, causing flooding on the west side of Morrison and near the Prairie Ridge Golf Course.

Public works and the Morrison Fire Department are working to contain the water but they need more help. Volunteers can contact City Hall at 815-772-7657.
