Water troubles on roadways

Things got a little messy with the rain in Davenport Sunday.

One sewer hole overflowed near 4th Street on River Drive at around 4:30 p.m.

Eastbound traffic had to be diverted while it took public works hours to get everything under control.

Police say with the cold temperatures, the sewers just couldn't handle all the rain.
