Quad Citians got together Thursday night with one goal in mind: Fighting back against cancer. The Hope Rally for Relay For Life of Rock Island County was held at the River House Bar and Grill in Moline. There were snacks, games and prizes. It was all to jumpstart this year's campaign. Relay for Life is where teams take turns and walk for 24 hours straight to raise money for cancer research.
"This is a way for people to fight back. Give their time or sign up a team and help raise funds for the mission of the American cancer society," said Stacey Dutton, Staff Partner, American Cancer Society.
Relay for Life of Rock Island County is September 14th. Click here to sign up or donate.
