Niabi Zoo scheduled to open soon

Animal lovers, get ready. The Niabi Zoo will soon be open for the season.

Officials at the Coal Valley zoo announced Wednesday it will open its gates for it's 50th anniversary season on Monday, March 11th.

It's been closed since November.

To welcome visitors back to the zoo, officials is offering free admission from March 11th through March 15th.
