Illinois
Governor Pat Quinn will talk about the state's budget today, but it's not all
bad news.
That's
the word from a prominent house democrat.
While
the governor is expected to focus on the nearly $100 billion pension crisis for
the next fiscal year, there's also good news too.
Revenue
is expected to increase by more than $1 billion because of increased tax
receipts.
Despite
the silver lining, Governor Quinn is predicting a $400 million cut in
education.
