Tornado App hits the market

Want a new way to protect you're your family from the threat of a tornado? Now there's an a for that.

Tuesday The Red Cross launched a tornado app.

The iPhone and Android friendly download offers real time updates and warnings when a tornado has touched down in your area.

It even has a quick "I'm safe" button that will let friends and family know you made it through the disaster.

This app comes after the Red Cross's hurricane app, skyrocketed after Superstorm Sandy.

Both app's are free.
