After several hours of moderate to heavy snow this morning things are looking a little better this afternoon in the Quad Cities. We'll see a few more snow showers (up to 1 inch additional snow in the QC metro area) but most of the additional significant accumulations will be limited to areas East of the Quad Cities. In the metro area the official snow reports for the Quad Cities are 4.1" in Moline and 4.1" in Davenport! Last week Moline's totals were quite a bit higher than Davenport, but that's not the case through noon today - when those measurements were taken!
Winds will be up a little bit this afternoon, and while the warnings/advisories have been canceled West and SW of the Quad Cities, Rock Island county (IL) and Scott County (IA) are still under a Winter Storm Warning. As of this afternoon these warnings are supposed to go until 9pm, but more than likely will be canceled early also!
