More snow hits the Quad Cities

Another bout of winter weather hit the Quad Cities this morning.

Heavier snowfall and high winds are expected throughout the morning, so drivers should be extra careful when traveling.

While many residents may be sick of the snow, private snow plow companies relish this recent weather.

Private snow plow companies work hard to keep parking lots of businesses and residential properties clear.

With all this snow coming at once, Brian Gramenz who runs a private plowing business out of his auto sho, Shawn's Auto Service, tells us it can be overwhelming.

"For the last three weeks we haven't been able actually to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Like winter's starting new and instead of finishing where spring's supposed to be here," said Gramenz.

He added that he and his partner will be out all day today working to keep their customers safe.
