Medical marijuana will likely not become legal in Iowa.
That's according to the head of a state senate committee, who says a bill will not be heard by the full committee because it doesn't have enough support to pass.
The bill would have allowed patients with qualifying conditions, like cancer, to get a prescription for medical marijuana.
A house subcommittee also rejected a similar bill.
