Still no deal between Dixon teachers and the board of education meaning there will be no school on Monday.
The two sides went to the bargaining table Sunday for the third time since going on strike Thursday. The meeting began around 1 p.m. and didn't break until around midnight.
The district released a statement saying, "We made progress in many language areas and the Board offered a 3 year contract that was equal to the cost of living index.
We will meet again tomorrow at 6:30 and prior to that meeting the Board will release a comprehensive statement.
The strike continues and child care is scheduled to start tomorrow (Monday)."
