Today
locals headed out to the Blackhawk hotel for "Bowl for a Buddy;" all to help raise money for the Scott
County Humane Society.
Organizers
say its events like these that go a long way for the animals.
"It'll
go toward daily care and comfort for animals that come into the shelter," says
Pam Arndt. "Medical, the food, just the everyday care for them."
Organizers
say the event is also a great way to connect with people and even find some new
homes for man's best friend.
