A Davenport couple is behind bars after police say they were making methamphetamine in the same apartment as their 21 month old child.

Lauren Smeltzer and Joshua Stalder were charged after police raided the apartment in the 3800 block of Bridge Avenue Wednesday night.

Inside they found a working meth lab and all the materials needed to make it.  Police say Stalder admitted to making the drug to earn extra money.

Smeltzer and Stalder are both charged with Drug Possession/Delivery and Child Endangerment.  They are currently in the Scott County Jail.
