According to the sixth annual national survey assessing household saving, released as part of America Saves Week, nearly half of Americans don't have a savings plan with specific goals. RealizeRetirement (www.realizeretirement.org) offers tools to help educate employees to set more specific financial goals, like saving and investing, based on their career stage and long-term plans.  

ICMA-RC, which has won more than 55 national awards in partnership with public sector plan sponsors for educational resources,1 designed RealizeRetirement using simple, goal-oriented applications to educate public sector workers about building retirement security as they plan during different stages of their career. The site features videos, interactive calculators, digital publications and links to additional financial education resources that are relevant to public employees just starting their career, in mid-career, or those enjoying retirement.
