Gay marriage is already legal in Iowa, but some Republican Senators think voters should decide whether or not to keep it that way. A Republican Senator has introduced a bill that would let voters decided if gay marriage should be allowed in the state. The bill has 18 sponsors in the senate. The measure would need to be approved by the current legislative assembly and then one elected in 2014, before it could go on a ballot.
